Une terrible nouvelle vient de tomber(sur la tête de Billie Joe j'ai un peu l'impression^^), notre leader du groupe Green day serait comtaniné par une grippe comme celle de la grippe aviaire puisque ses cheveux ont virés aux jaune poucins... ah non on me dis que c'est une teinture et que c'est normal. Good Charlotte

Benji et Joel Madden n’auraient jamais pensé mener un jour une si belle vie! À l’école, les frères jumeaux de Good Charlotte se sentaient différents et rejetés. Leur famille était pauvre et puis un soir de Noël, leur père a quitté la maison pour ne plus jamais revenir. C’est à peu près à cette époque qu’ils ont formé leur groupe.

Paul Thomas est devenu le bassiste du groupe et Billy Martin le guitariste. Les batteurs se sont succédés jusqu’à l’arrivée de Chris Wilson. Mais Chris a dû quitter Good Charlotte en 2005 pour des raisons de santé.

C’est avec la chanson Lifestyles of the Rich and the Famous que Good Charlotte connaît le succès international en 2002. L’album The Chronicles of Life and Death (2004), s’éloigne du style punk-rock qui a fait connaître le groupe. On y retrouve à la fois du rock, du hip hop et des ballades. Mais le message d’espoir est toujours là. Avant tout, Good Charlotte espère aider les jeunes qui vivent des moments difficiles.
